Durable Cotton Twill,

We chose a durable medium-heavy all-cotton fabric in 3x1 left hand twill for Hanoi; not the kind of flimsy cloth with stretch you find in supermarket chinos. It has enough body to stay in shape and the pure cotton twill will develop its own personality as it ages with wear and washes. Garment-dyeing - coloring the fabric after manufacturing the garment - contributes to a depth of color with subtle variations, adding to the character of the chinos. The brushing process raises fibers from the yarn, adding to the surface interest and creating a soft, vintage feel.

A 305 gsm (9 Oz) densely woven fabric in a 3x1 left hand cotton twill. Tough enough to withstand some rough use, but with a sharpness to make it quite dressy. The garment-dyeing process adds depths to the color. Brushing the fabric raises fibers from the yarn on the surface, creating a softness and lived-in feel out of the box.

The Hanoi comes in three fits which should cater to all your needs. With 9.75” front-rise in slim fit (for size 32), 12” at thigh and 7” at the hem, it is slim, not skinny. The regular and regular-tapered fits provide more room at the hip and thigh, while tapering gently to the hem.

A 3" wide pure cotton twill tape at the waist gets the same color as the chinos by virtue of garment-dyeing. This waistband won't wither away like an elastic band.

A workwear feature, adding ruggedness to the Hanoi; we opted for visible, double-stitched inseams, and extended it through the seat. While these will become prominent and add character to the chinos over time, our limited use of visible stitching makes the Hanoi slightly dressier.

Nobody likes that white pocket fabric peeking out on the sides while you sit. Of course, you can use a colored fabric and call it a feature. Instead, in line with our minimalist philosophy, we extended the cotton twill a few inches deeper to eliminate the pocket fabric peeking out.

What if the garment doesn’t fit me?

We have a flat 90-day no-questions-asked return and remake policy, and we are dead serious about it. We want you to have a perfect fit, Period.

If you are not happy with your fit, we will happily remake/alter the garment again till you find it to your satisfaction. 

We’re sure you’ll be pleased with the quality of our product. However, if it fails to meet your expectations, you can request a complete refund, no questions asked.

We make sure that you run no risk in trying us out.

How are you different from other custom/bespoke/tailoring setups?

Most of the clothes you wear day to day, such as jeans, khakis, jackets, denim shirts, etc., are not available custom-made for you. The industrial processes of construction and washing garments are unavailable to the local tailors. 

Even brands that claim to be bespoke or custom will leave you wanting that “ready-to-wear” finish. Specialized stitches such as bar-tacking, chain-stitching, double-needle, and French seam are required to make sturdy, enduring garments only seen in industrial setups. A puckering on the stitches, softness of a brushed garment all needs industrial washers and machines. 

Ready-to-wear garments, on the other hand, make you compromise on fit.

How long does it take once I place an order?

We don’t hold up ready-made inventory, only the raw materials. We start making the product only once you place an order and your measurements are confirmed. 

That means your perfect size & style are always in stock, and we don’t create waste. 

Once our team has created and confirmed your measurements, shipping your order takes 7-8 working days.

How do I retrieve my measurements from my previous order?

Your measurements are safe with us. We will automatically retrieve your saved measurements if you use the email address as your original order. 

You can also log in from the product page or from the menu to see your previous measurements listed. 

Once you place the order, our Made to Measure specialists always contact you to confirm your measurements.
