Garment description

Linen is a fabric steeped in history. Archeologists have discovered evidence of linen being used at least 34000 years ago.  The natural fibers of linen are made from flax and is highly sustainable. Strong, light and breathable - it is the ultimate warm weather fabric.

Mention linen shirts, and images of brawny movie stars in tailored shirts come to mind. But what we usually see in real life is out of shape men in sloppy, revealing, linen shirts. Not with Corfu! We opted for a heavier-than-usual, yarn-dyed, linen fabric to craft a refined summer shirt. Ruggedly constructed, and with the breathability and moisture-wicking capabilities of linen, Corfu will make you look better with each wear, as the wrinkles add a touch of nonchalance. What if the garment doesn’t fit me?

We have a flat 90-day no-questions-asked return and remake policy, and we are dead serious about it. We want you to have a perfect fit, Period.

If you are not happy with your fit, we will happily remake/alter the garment again till you find it to your satisfaction. 

We’re sure you’ll be pleased with the quality of our product. However, if it fails to meet your expectations, you can request a complete refund, no questions asked.

How are you different from other custom/bespoke/tailoring setups?

Most of the clothes you wear day to day, such as jeans, khakis, jackets, denim shirts, etc., are not available custom-made for you. The industrial processes of construction and washing garments are unavailable to the local tailors. 

Even brands that claim to be bespoke or custom will leave you wanting that “ready-to-wear” finish. Specialized stitches such as bar-tacking, chain-stitching, double-needle, and French seam are required to make sturdy, enduring garments only seen in industrial setups. A puckering on the stitches, softness of a brushed garment all needs industrial washers and machines. 

Ready-to-wear garments, on the other hand, make you compromise on fit.

How long does it take once I place an order?

We don’t hold up ready-made inventory, only the raw materials. We start making the product only once you place an order and your measurements are confirmed. 

That means your perfect size & style are always in stock, and we don’t create waste. 

Once our team has created and confirmed your measurements, shipping your order takes 7-8 working days.

How do I retrieve my measurements from my previous order?

Your measurements are safe with us. We will automatically retrieve your saved measurements if you use the email address as your original order.

Once you place the order, our Made to Measure specialists always contact you to confirm your measurements.

Will my garment shrink after washing?

All our garments are pre-washed and 99% of the shrinkage is taken out before shipping. You can expect very minimal shrinkage on washing.

A warm ( but all) weather shirt

The corfu is a shirt with a decent weight and a good weave linen. This shirt has all the same construction features like that of the Oxford shirt by the company except the yoke. However, being linen it feels and drapes different. The shirt has a sturdy built and the weave is open and hence more breathable. I love the fact that even with wrinkles it holds well and maintains its shape. The unlined collar remains in a perfect “S” shape. I would even love to wear it in winters under cardigans and pullovers. My suggestion would be to introduce some good quality stripes and cotton-linen blend too. Summary: beautiful and sturdy linen shirt. buy at-least one. I have a “houndstooth” one

For the first time in my life (after my school days), i got a fitted shirt :).. this material is cool, the stitching is a marvel and it looks much elegant.. i used to run to boys' section for getting one matching my size.. and the varieties available for a 40+ guy in a boys section is very limited.. Now I have my problem resolved... I will rely on Monks from here on.. and i would like to see much more varieties here, and I hope that would be on the Monks carts in the days to come...
