Measuring a back rise
of a jeans
What you will need
- A good fitting mide-rise jeans
- A measuring tape
1/ Find a good fitting mide-rise jeans

Start your favorite pair of mid-rise jeans. When you hold it up, you will notice that the front is lower than the back, which is typical of jeans.
2/ Lay the jeans on a flat surface

Place the jeans on a flat surface so that the back of the jeans is facing you.
3/ Measure it from the crotch seam to the waist
Start at the end of the crotch seam and measure straight up to the top of the front waistband.
Things to consider
- Make sure the jeans is flat and fully extended to get a good reading
- Do not add anything extra for the shrinkage, we will do that for you.
