Measuring a front rise
of a jeans

What you will need

  • A good fitting mide-rise jeans
  • A measuring tape

1/ Find a good fitting mide-rise jeans

Find a good fitting shirt

Start your favorite pair of mid-rise jeans. When you hold it up, you will notice that the front is lower than the back, which is typical of jeans.

2/ Lay the jeans on a flat surface

Place the jeans on a flat surface and stretch it so the front and back of the waist band is in a straight line.

3/ Measure it from the crotch seam to the waist

Start at the end of the crotch seam and measure straight up to the middle of the front waistband.

Start at the end of the crotch seam and measure straight up to the top of the front waistband.

Things to consider

    • Make sure the jeans is flat and fully extended to get a good reading
    • Do not add anything extra for the shrinkage, we will do that for you.
