Find a good fitting shirt

The hem is the bottom end of the shirt.

2/ Lay the shirt on a flat surface

To measure the hem, button-up the shirt and place it on a flat surface.

3/ Measure it from the outer edge of the hem to the other edge

Place the end of your tape measure on the outer edge of the hem. Run it along the width of the shirt to the other edge. Some shirts will have a straight hem, and some shirts will have a curved hem. You do not need to measure the length of the curve. Use the end of the side seam to start your measurement and simply go straight across.

Round it off to the nearest centimeter of quarter of an inch.

Things to consider

    • Make sure the shirt is flat and fully extended to get a good reading
    • Do not add anything extra for the shrinkage, we will do that for you.
