CAPOLAVORO!

It's nothing short of a masterpiece, the RENO. This is my third MoM shirt, and the RENO is perfection. The fabric is surprisingly sturdy even though it's chambray. Fits like a glove and feels like a million bucks. The cut, the silhouette is contemporary while still staying true to what a work shirt should be like. This can be your go to shirt for everything from office to weekend galas. Love every bit of it!

Excellant

Good fitting,

Great fit, sturdy cloth

This is a great no nonsense chambray shirt - rugged but with sufficient nods to urban dressing. The fit is great- I like how the company incorporated my measurements to produce a shirt which has a bespoke fit and feel. One of their representatives also called to confirm the measurements which I found very professional. It is difficult for me to get shirts that fit well out of the box so its good to discover this brand. This shirt looks very good with both denims and chinos and will be a staple in my casual wardrobe (unfortunately my profession requires very formal clothes otherwise many professionals can also wear this at work, especially if going for single welt pocket or no pocket.). I hope the brand brings out more options soon.

Lovely Reno

The shirt is lovely. The right weight and colour. The finishing is excellent. I ordered the shirt through the portal and requested the dimensions to match a shirt that I own. The process of picking up the sample shirt and delivery of the both the shirts was very smooth. I wore my Reno ( slim fit) on a day that saw 43 degree Celsius temperature. The fabric is very comfortable. The cut away collar sits very well. I just have a few suggestions: 1. Please add a few buttons (extra) just in case they are required. 2. You could perhaps increase the collar by half an inch an introduce a button down version with a cut away collar. That would be a nice alternative or customisation to a this wonderful shirt. Thank you for the shirt.

RENO - Dream Come True

I have been looking for a tailored fit & perfectly washed chambray shirt for 10 yrs now. It’s satisfied with RENO. Just got it today and i am very much happy with fit and the character it brought to me. Love Monks of Method and Kudos to Chiku for the written note.

to feel good look good and RENO just does that to you!

I was a guy who never had 'a favorite' shirt...all this changed when my Dusty Blue Reno arrived! High quality fabric, style and stitching. This model of made to measure is super cool...why settle for a branded but generic size 39 slim fit when no two size 39 slim adults have the same body...that too when you have an hassle free option to customize...as they say to feel good look good and RENO just does that to you! Thanks MoM!

Denim and chambray are both fabrics that are often made from cotton and can appear quite similar, especially from a distance. However, they differ in their construction, weight, and typical usage. Here are some key distinctions:

Weave

  • Denim: Typically made using a twill weave, which results in a diagonal ribbing pattern on the surface of the fabric. One set of threads (the warp) is usually dyed, often in indigo, while the other set (the weft) remains white or undyed.
  • Chambray: Made using a plain weave, where the warp and weft threads alternate one over the other. Both sets of threads can be dyed, but chambray often has a colored warp and a white weft, which gives it a more muted, even color.

Weight

  • Denim: Generally heavier and more durable. It's designed for more robust use, which is why it's commonly used for jeans, jackets, and workwear.
  • Chambray: Lighter and softer, making it more breathable and comfortable for warmer weather. It's often used for casual shirts, dresses, and children's clothing.

Texture

  • Denim: Has a more textured, rugged feel due to the twill weave and heavier weight.
  • Chambray: Tends to be smoother and has a softer drape, making it more suitable for formal or semi-formal attire.

Appearance

  • Denim: Due to the twill weave and the contrast between the dyed warp and undyed weft, denim often appears to have more depth and texture.
  • Chambray: Appears more uniform in color and texture, and often has a slight sheen.

Versatility

  • Denim: More associated with casual, rugged wear, but it has also been adopted into more fashionable items.
  • Chambray: More versatile in terms of fashion, suitable for both casual and slightly more formal occasions.

Durability

  • Denim: Known for its durability and is often used in clothing that's intended to withstand wear and tear.
  • Chambray: Less durable than denim but still relatively strong for its weight.

While both fabrics have their own unique characteristics, they are sometimes used together in clothing items for a contrasting effect. Understanding these differences can help you choose the right material for your needs.

What if the garment doesn’t fit me?

We have a flat 90-day no-questions-asked return and remake policy, and we are dead serious about it. We want you to have a perfect fit, Period.

If you are not happy with your fit, we will happily remake/alter the garment again till you find it to your satisfaction.

We’re sure you’ll be pleased with the quality of our product. However, if it fails to meet your expectations, you can request a complete refund, no questions asked.

We make sure that you run no risk in trying us out.

How are you different from other custom/bespoke/tailoring setups?

Most of the clothes you wear day to day, such as jeans, khakis, jackets, denim shirts, etc., are not available custom-made for you. The industrial processes of construction and washing garments are unavailable to the local tailors.

Even brands that claim to be bespoke or custom will leave you wanting that “ready-to-wear” finish. Specialized stitches such as bar-tacking, chain-stitching, double-needle, and French seam are required to make sturdy, enduring garments only seen in industrial setups. A puckering on the stitches, softness of a brushed garment all needs industrial washers and machines.

Ready-to-wear garments, on the other hand, make you compromise on fit.

We offer personalized fit within the constraints of the business model. We allow you to customize your order as long as it does not compromise the style and make each garment specifically for you. You get the best of both worlds - an industrial finish of ready-to-wear with the personalized fit of made-to-measure. We will pull out all the stops to get the fit right on your first purchase of each type of garment. Once you are satisfied, next time will be breezy, as we store your custom measurements for future purchases.

How long does it take once I place an order?

We don’t hold up ready-made inventory, only the raw materials. We start making the product only once you place an order and your measurements are confirmed.

That means your perfect size & style are always in stock, and we don’t create waste.

Once our team has created and confirmed your measurements, shipping your order takes 7-8 working days.

How do I retrieve my measurements from my previous order?

Your measurements are safe with us. We will automatically retrieve your saved measurements if you use the email address as your original order.

You can also log in from the product page or from the menu to see your previous measurements listed.

Once you place the order, our Made to Measure specialists always contact you to confirm your measurements.

Will my garment shrink after washing?

All our garments are pre-washed and 99% of the shrinkage is taken out before shipping. You can expect very minimal shrinkage on washing.
